Large rear two storey extension and internal alterations to existing detached dwelling and a double garage.
The brief was to increase the accommodation within the existing detached dwelling and change its appearance to create a more traditional stone dwelling.
The first extension included a demolishing the single storey lean to shed to the rear garage and replacing it with a 2 storey extension to provide a larger farmhouse kitchen/dining area and Lounge. At first floor level create a large master bedroom & en-suite, and a further two bedrooms all with en-suites.
This was a very high standard project with all the new stone door & window surrounds being cut to match exactly those on the main elevation.
A detached double garage was also built into the hillside adjacent to the dwelling.
This entailed carrying out a survey of the property, preparing schemes for the approval of the client, as well as the Pendle Planning and building control departments and obtaining all the necessary approvals.
