New Warehouse, Trade Counter & Office Accommodation
The brief was to carry out a full architectural role from inception through to completion including obtaining all necessary approvals, financial controls and site supervision.
The original site was an area of waste land created when the Keighley duel carriageway was constructed as it bisected the former running track, which had been cut into the contours of the land. As the site was on the main arterial access road into Keighley the planning authority would not allow a simple metal clad steel framed building, therefore semi circular columns were introduced with artificial stone panels in between with metal cladding over and a deep fascia/capping to the roof.
